Rodeheaver Boys Ranch functions as a residential childcare facility providing total care for the boys who make the ranch their home. The Ranch is not a summer or day camp, a detention center or an institution for the mentally impaired. Rodeheaver Boys Ranch functions as a lively structured community in a program of guidance, enrichment and training.
Divided among five houses, each boy is placed with a married couple who are referred to as House Parents. The house functions through everyone working together. Attending school, completing chores, going on outings, attending a local church, and extracurricular activities are a part of every week. The entire ranch eats together each night during the week in the ranch cafeteria and attend chapel together once a week. The ranch provides each boy with a wide array of outdoor activities such as horseback riding, swimming, sports, fishing, canoeing, and camping.
Rodeheaver is licensed through the Florida Association of Christian Childcaring Agencies (FACCCA.com) to provide short term (up to one year) care for boys ages 7 and up. Boys are intentionally separated from cell phones and social media while in our program so that they can work on their family relationships and develop a healthy sense of identity in a supportive Christ-centered environment. We provide our services at a low cost to families without taking any taxpayer funding. We depend on the donations of God’s people to continue our mission of serving those in need and building boys in the pattern of Christian men.

Our Mission
To provide a wholesome home environment with social, educational, vocational and spiritual training for needy boys. These are boys who, because of parental death, desertion, divorce, disability or dysfunctional home situation, have no home of their own. These boys are given a second chance in life and an opportunity to build a strong foundation for the future.
Our Vision
To see the boys who come to Rodeheaver Boys Ranch break the chains of generational dysfunction and self-destructive behavior through faith, grow in their relationship with God, and become successful in their chosen fields with the hope and opportunity for a positive future.
